The Taylor RC 55kg Brushless servo is a top quality choice for those that need a high performance standard sized servo at a great price. The aero grade CNC case is IP67 rated waterproof/dustproof making it capable of surviving difficult environments.
This servo has been manufactured for us to our own Upgraded Specification from the OEM manufacturer, incl different gear train material for strength, we have tested it for over 6 months on MCD and Outlaw rigs, no issues. Also Included is an AGFRC CNC Billet metal single sided servo horn and other usual plastic horns/servo mounting accessories.
Huge amounts of torque are put out from a brushless motor that spin a stainless steel geared drivetrain. With an output of 55kg (~760 oz-in) of torque this servo is perfectly suited for a variety of applications. The wide band voltage rating means the compatibility range is large; working competently from 4.8V all the way up to 8.4V.
Here at Taylor RC we find it is a superb choice as a throttle/brake servo for the MCD line of cars, HPI Baja, Outlaw Hybrids as well as 1/10 and 1/8 buggies and trucks. The Servo uses a "standard size" 25T spline output shaft. This same style of output shaft is found on many brands of servos including AGFRC, NSDRC, Hitec, Futaba and more!
