The kit is made for stock Losi 2.0 brake hardware and pads, but we recommend the Detroit Performance Upgrade Losi 5ive 2.0 & TLR 5B Brake Kit
The recommended Setup from testing for overall value for money and reliability of the drivetrain was the Hobbywing Max5 kit wth 56mm motors running 8 to 12S, but there is a Max4 with 70mm motors option if you really want to go wild!
Battery Size 170mmx50x60mm as your rough maximum, for the Ultimate 6S Power Source that just squeezes in, go with 2x CNHL Racing Series 9500mAh 22.2V 6S 90C
