This optional gear set for the Kraken VEKTA.5 is made to fit the stock Kraken VEKTA transmission. This will also fit the optional Transmission X. This gear set is two teeth smaller on the pinion gear. This increases torque.
The intention of this gear set caters to those using the optional Maxxis Trepador tires and small bore engines. It maintains low end performance. When using large diameter tires that will effectively increase your gear ratio so this gear set is made to offset the difference.
This works great for higher powered small bore engines and those that want a small bit of speed over the standard gears.
