The KRAKEN KV5TTE is a Brushless Electric capable 4WD platform from KRAKEN RC. Seven years ago, we introduced the gas version of the KV5TT, and it became an instant sensation worldwide. Now, with the KRAKEN KV5TTE, we are stepping into a new era of clean, renewable energy.

We have completely redesigned the V3 Rear Axle, reducing its weight and adding new features to handle the immense power of the brushless motor. The KV5TTE is a ready-to-go, plug-and-play roller. All you need to provide is your own pinion, ESC/Motor, radio and LIPO Batteries. You can use pinion size from 16-20T (Mod 1.5). Further improvements in 2026 include the direct drive spur gear; eliminating the slipper clutch!

Required to complete:

• Radio with receiver (3+ channel 2.4GHz suggested)
• Motor and Speed Control (Hobbywing Max4 or equivalent)
• Pinion gear (16 to 20 tooth 1.5M pitch)
• LIPO Batteries and Charger (8S to 12S; 12S is suggested. Batteries with a high C rating and high current connectors like QS8 required)
• NOTE: If using the Hobbywing Max4 brushless system some radios may require the Max4 be programmed for the motor rotation to be changed to "CW" rotation from the default "CCW". This will require the use of the Hobbywing programming LED card OR the OTA Bluetooth programmer
